Illinois Connection is the Advocacy Network for the University of Illinois run through the Alumni Association. On Sept. 11, 2010, over 300 advocates came to the Annual Meeting at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, Urbana, to hear about the past year's efforts and see what to expect in the upcoming year. The grassroots network is approaching 8,000 advocates (as of September 2010) and looking to expand. Following the meeting, guests were invited to President Michael Hogan's house for a pre-game buffet.
