Black Alumni Network
The official Black Alumni Network (a special chapter of the UIAA) is being headed up by Kevin McFall and has just successfully completed the first annual Black Alumni Reunion this past November. It was a great success, and included Ambassador and Former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun, selections from the famous Black Chorus, a comedy night and more. You can watch video excerpts on the blog at http://uiucblackalums.blogspot.com/
The unofficial Black Alumni online network for Illini all over the world is called "IlliniSoul" and is located at http://uiucalumni.ning.com/. There are about 3,000 Illini from all generations who are members of this site. It's a very exciting place to reconnect with friends, professors, and colleagues.
